About Me
Lissette grew up in Glendora, CA with her parents and younger brother. She remained in her school’s orchestra from grades 4-12 before continuing on to play with Mt. San Antonio College's String Orchestra and Chamber Ensemble.
Lissette continued her higher education at Mt. San Antonio College and Cal Poly Pomona earning an Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a focus in Social Work.
She continued her passion of music during her undergrad by teaching private lessons to students in her local community. After graduating in 2020 at the height of the pandemic, Lissette's path to becoming a social worker came to a halt as she reconsidered where her passion for change should be directed towards.
With how uncertain things were during the pandemic, Lissette knew she wanted to make a difference in her community while still including her passion of music and the violin.
That is when her vision of building a music studio came to life.
Lissette currently resides in Long Beach, CA with her partner, Joe, and their two kittens Ginger and Pepper.
In 2023, Lissette transformed her home into a music studio to offer private violin lessons. Her vision was to create a nurturing environment where students could freely express themselves through the power of music.
And so, Studio 4 Strings became a reality.
